To develop confident intermediate Mandarin skills and enable learners to communicate effectively on familiar academic, professional, social, and everyday topics.

Vocabulary: Society, education, work, culture, technology, environment & current topics
Grammar: Complex sentence structures, complements, conjunctions & advanced sentence patterns
Communication: Expressing and supporting opinions, explaining ideas & discussing experiences
Practical Chinese: Workplace, travel, social situations & problem-solving
Listening & Speaking: Understanding longer conversations and expressing ideas fluently
Reading & Writing: Understanding longer texts and writing structured paragraphs
Conversation Practice: Discussions, presentations, role-plays & debates
Culture: Chinese society, traditions, media & contemporary life
